Description

The Mount Lindesay Walk Trail is located in the Mount Lindesay National Park in Denmark, Western Australia.

The trailhead and picnic area can be accessed by a 23km scenic drive along Scotsdale and Mt Lindesay Roads from Denmark. The picnic area is located at the end of the access road and has very minimal facilities. The trailhead features many large informative panels, a picnic table, and a nearby toilet.

The trail is a 10km return walk to the summit of Mount Lindesay, which is 385 meters above sea level. The walk is considered strenuous, and reasonable fitness is important. Visitors are advised to pack water, a snack, and sun protection. The trail is easy to walk for those who are energetic. The walk trail crosses over a bridge and part of the Denmark River before heading upwards towards Mount Lindesay. The Mount Lindesay Walk Trail offers spectacular views at the summit, but it is not a gentle outing. Visitors can enjoy colorful wildflowers in spring and spectacular views over the surrounding area. The trail is not recommended to be done in wet weather as the granite rocks can be slippery. The area does not have any animals.
