Description

Mount Magnificent Conservation Park is a protected area located in the Mount Lofty Ranges of South Australia, 58 kilometres (36 miles) south of Adelaide. It was established in 1967 under the National Parks Act 1966 and was reconstituted in 1972 under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972. The park covers an area of 90 hectares (220 acres) and is bordered by Blackfellows Creek Road to the west and Mount Magnificent Road to the east.

The Heysen Trail passes through the park, providing a walking trail for visitors. The park is home to a variety of vegetation and wildlife, with different tree species dominating at different elevations. It is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area and is listed on the Register of the National Estate.
