Mountview Wines is one of the oldest and most historic in its district, and is the makers of the popular drop, The Bloody Good Red.
A botanical tradition since 1921, the first vines were planted in 1921, and ever since have added many different varieties. Being a small Boutique Winery they sometimes source grapes from other parts of the district to complete their range of wines. By getting fruit from other locations it helps to control the quality and styles of wine they like to produce and share with their customers.
Set among pine trees, the red cedar barn winery enjoyd spectacular views and stands on the site of the original Mountview vineyards established in 1921.
Visitors entering the wine tasting room are cosseted amidst a range of wine making equipment and oak barrels, providing an authentic winery experience.
The range of wines produced at this boutique winery is said to be some of the district's finest.
