Restaurant and Bar
Visitors can enjoy an extensive range of estate-grown wines while dining at Forsters Restaurant and Cellar Door overlooking the vineyard. The restaurant highlights locally sourced produce and is prepared by NZ Lamb and Beef ambassador Chef Alistair Forster. A variety of exciting dishes are available to complement the wines. Additionally, the rustic Fox n Grapes bar adjoins the restaurant, open every day. The bar is perfect for visitors who wish to relax and enjoy their wines in a casual setting.

When to Go
Moutere Hills Vineyard is open for tastings and tours throughout the year. However, the best time to visit is during the summer months between December to February, where you can experience sunny days and cool nights. Additionally, the harvest season between April to May is also an excellent season to visit if you're interested in learning more about the wine-making process.
How to Get There
Moutere Hills Vineyard is situated in Upper Moutere in New Zealand. To reach the vineyard by car, travel south-west from Nelson City for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Moutere Highway sign. Turn right and continue on Moutere Highway for approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, regular bus services run between Nelson and Upper Moutere, making it an easy way to get to the vineyard.
