Description

Nangara Reserve is a 15-hectare art and nature reserve located 3km southwest of Jindivick, Victoria, and adjoining the Bunyip State Park.

The reserve is a nicely ordered park with a number of walks suitable for most people. One of the popular trails is the Quarry Walk, which is a 1.6-mile loop trail that takes an average of 39 minutes to complete. The reserve is a piece of bushland that was reclaimed from a former quarry site.

Nangara Reserve is a great place for visitors to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time in nature. The reserve has a variety of public artwork that provides fascinating context and adds to the beauty of the area. It is also a great place for birdwatching, with many different species of birds that can be seen in the area. Visitors can take a stroll or cycle the paths through this patch of bush paradise, dotted with wildflowers and native vegetation.

The reserve has limited facilities and amenities. There are no restrooms, picnic tables, or barbeque facilities available in the reserve. Visitors are advised to bring their own food and drinks and to take their rubbish with them when they leave. The reserve is not wheelchair accessible, and dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
