Ellis House Arts Centre currently show is ‘Nature of Being’ a group show from artists Sarah Eve, Jan Henderson and Kamila Waleszkiewicz, present their artworks exploring personal connections and interpretations of the natural world

Sarah Eve is an abstract realism painter inspired by her travels around Australia. Her use of colours is vibrant, demanding attention with dramatic contrasting lighting and shadows, highlighting the unique textures and lines within rocks.

Jan Henderson paints abstracts with the intention of breaking free from the conventional way of seeing. Her work attempts to connect with the viewer in a deeply personal way through the exploration of colour and shapes. Kamila Waleszkiewicz finds a thoughtful connection with nature, especially birds. For Kamila, birds serve as powerful symbols representing the souls of women, their dedication to family, struggles, and quest for freedom.
