With a focus on cutting edge design, Newforms prides itself on creative, unique, intuitive and sustainable solutions to the design challenges presented by the unique conditions in contemporary urban and natural Australian environments.

Newforms Landscape Architecture was founded in 2001 by Directors Matt Huxtable BLArch.(hons) and Ryan Healy BLArch, who met whilst studying at the University of Western Australia.

Newforms works in collaboration with a wide range of consultants, providing a multi-disciplinary approach to all projects. Together with senior staff who are involved in design workshops and periodic in house peer review of works in progress, all Newforms personnel are assigned to projects in order to maximise creative and experiential input.

Matt Huxtable is currently the President of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) WA Group and has a keen motivation for the promotion of the profession as integral in planning and design of built spaces on all scales. Matt is also an active member of the Landscape Industries Association of Western Australia, previously holding the position of Treasurer from 2005 to 2010.

Phase3 was founded in July 2007 by co-directors Matt Huxtable & Ryan Healy, both of whom are qualified landscape architects and co-directors of multi-award winning practice Newforms Landscape Architecture which has been operating since 2000.

Phase3’s close affiliation with design provides an effective solution to client’s needs through demonstrating it’s commitment and understanding in delivering landscape architectural projects as intended.

Since conception Phase3 has been a multi-award winner in both the 2008, 2010 & 2011 Landscape Industries Association of Western Australia Awards. In May this year the company received a major award at the Australian Landscape Industries Association national awards in Sydney.

The Phase3-Newforms collaboration has seen the companies grow to be one of the most respected landscape providers to the high end residential market and over the last few years has seen expanding growth in the commercial and civic market.
