Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park

Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park is a protected area located on the Eastern bank of the Murray River in South Australia.

It covers an area of 49 hectares and is co-managed by the Government of South Australia and the Nganguraku people. The park received protected area status in 1976 and has since been expanded and renamed to reflect the Aboriginal spelling of the rock shelter it is named after.

The park is home to a wealth of Aboriginal rock art and culture, including the birthplace of the "black duck dreaming." The Nganguraku people have inhabited this land for thousands of years, making it culturally significant. Visitors are encouraged to explore the park's natural landscape while immersing themselves in the rich Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park is easily accessible by car, just two and a half hours from Adelaide. The park is open year-round, except during some cultural ceremonies. Visitors must stay on designated trails and pets are not allowed.
