The North Coastal Children’s Community Choir is a non-profit organisation which teaches boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16.
Children will develop skills in singing, reading music, teamwork, and gain confidence in performing concerts throughout the year. The choir is supported by the City of Wanneroo, Lotterywest and Satterleys.
Children showcase their talents at concerts staged at the local retirement villages, the Wanneroo Citizen ceremonies, The Wanneroo show and small musicals at the local theatres. The choir welcomes all children who are euthanistic and love to sing. They will make new friends, gain confidence and will be able to express and accomplish new talents.
The children will be taught beautiful songs and acting skills by our vocal coach who has experience in musical theatre, choirs and opera's. All the family are welcome to act, belong and support the choir.
The Junior Choir (5-8-year-old) rehearse from 3.30pm to 4.15pm followed by our Senior Choir (9-16-year-old) from 4.30pm to 5.30pm held at the Butler Community Centre on Wednesdays. Children who are interested in singing solo's will be given extra vocal lessons after choir rehearsals. We charge $2.00 a week to cover the cost of sheet music, insurance, Apra license and we do not hold any auditions.
