Northeast Park Scottsdale is a nature lover's paradise located in the North East of Tasmania.

It offers free camping facilities for tents, caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, and campervans. Visitors can stay for a maximum of 14 nights and there are amenities such as toilets and coin-operated barbecues. Dogs are allowed, but generators are not permitted. The park is home to various wildlife including wallabies, pademelons, and rare burrowing crayfish.

There are forest walks that showcase the unique Tasmanian flora, as well as the chance to spot platypus at dusk or dawn. The best time to visit Northeast Park is during the summer months for mild temperatures and low rainfall. To reach Northeast Park from Hobart Airport, visitors can fly to Launceston Airport and then rent a car or take a bus to Scottsdale. The drive from Hobart to Scottsdale is also an option for those who prefer a scenic route.
