Description

Nowendoc National Park is a secluded and rugged terrain located in New South Wales, Australia.

It offers scenic views, waterfalls, heritage sites, and picturesque canyons. The park is dominated by eucalypt forests and features lush rainforest environments along Myall and Callaghans Creeks.

Access to the park is available through two sections. The main section can be reached from the north-west of Nowendoc, but visitors must drive on steep and winding gravel access roads. The Myall Creek Campground and Callaghans Canyon can be accessed this way. Wrights Hut, located in the southeastern section, is only accessible by 4WD and requires a key from the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

The smaller forested section of the park is located on Millers Road and offers a basic camping area along Myall Creek. Visitors can explore waterfalls, rainforest, and other natural attractions on self-reliant bushwalks. For adventurous visitors, there are opportunities to venture further from the campground and explore canyons, waterfalls, and heritage sites. This is a great activity for hikers and explorers.

A visit to Nowendoc National Park provides breathtaking views, natural spectacles, and the chance to experience the remoteness of the rugged terrain. It is important to come prepared and enjoy the escape to these beautiful landscapes.
