Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses is a contemporary country hotel located on a deer breeding farm in the South Island of New Zealand, 12 kilometres North of the renowned eco-marine town of Kaikoura.
The Lodge provides luxurious accommodation on Kaikoura’s rugged coastline, a place for guests to relax in its intimate indoor/outdoor setting and a place from which they can explore the larger maritime landscape of Kaikoura.
The Lodge's five Tree Houses are a unique accommodation, nested 10 meters and more (33+ feet) above the ground in the canopy of a native Kanuka grove. The Lodge offers stunning views of Kaikoura and the Pacific Ocean. The property is 10 minutes' drive from Ohau Stream Walkway and Waterfall.
All air-conditioned suites feature a dining setting, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Each includes a lounge area with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and iPod docking station. The private bathroom comes with a rain shower and hairdryer. The Lodge also offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and free WiFi.
