Murrells Grand View House

Murrells Grand View House is a historic bed and breakfast accommodation located in Manapouri, New Zealand.

Built in 1889 by the Murrell family, who were pioneers in Fiordland, it is the oldest of its kind in the country. Set in 3 acres of gardens near Lake Manapouri, the house offers unique accommodation with magnificent views of the lake and mountains. There are four spacious en-suite rooms, each individually furnished with views of the lake, mountains, or garden. Amenities include coffee and tea facilities, with herbal teas provided, as well as en-suite bathrooms with complimentary New-Zealand made toiletries.

The accommodation is conveniently located a short drive from Te Anau and a 5-minute walk from the departure point for Doubtful Sound cruises. The local beach is only a 2-minute walk away. The nearest airport, Te Anau Manapouri airport, is a 10-minute drive away, and guests can leave their car in onsite parking. Continental breakfast is provided for guests, and check-in is available from 2 PM to 6.30 PM, with check-out from 7 AM to 10 AM.
