Quickenberry Guesthouse

Quickenberry Guesthouse is a small lodge located in the foothills of Canterbury, New Zealand.

It is situated in a quiet and peaceful setting, high above the Rakaia Gorge, with views over rolling countryside and towards Mt. Hutt. The lodge is only one hour away from the airport in Christchurch, making it an ideal place for a first or last night in New Zealand.

The lodge has four bedrooms, all with en-suites, nicely furnished, and with views over paddocks with grazing sheep or cattle to nearby hills. The bedrooms have super king-size beds and are well equipped with all the necessary amenities. The lodge also has a large lounge with an open fireplace and generous sitting areas, a small library, and a lovely dining room.

The food served at the lodge has received many awards and is based on New Zealand produce and ingredients such as lamb, venison, and salmon. In the summer, vegetables come from their own garden, as do the herbs and salads.

Quickenberry Guesthouse is located in an excellent location, rated 9.7/10 by real guests, with easy access to popular activities such as skiing, fishing, and golfing. The lodge is adjacent to a golf course, making it a great choice for a stay in Windwhistle. The area is also popular for skiing, with the Mt Hutt ski fields only 39 km away.
