Paramata Lodge is a luxurious and eco-friendly accommodation in Kakapotahi, New Zealand.

The lodge offers guided beach walks and lagoon kayaking, while birding and lagoon tours can be arranged through Kiwi and Okarito tours, which are located an hour's drive away. The lodge is managed by hosts Kathy and Neil, who are dedicated to an environmentally sustainable lifestyle and work with volunteers to protect indigenous biodiversity in the South Island’s West Coast. Guests can enjoy the lounges, piano, library, and sundecks at the lodge, and their stay will contribute to Kathy's work with volunteers.
Paramata Lodge is situated a 30-minute drive from Hokitika Central and a three-hour drive from Christchurch Airport along State Highway 73, passing through the scenic Southern Alps and Arthur’s Pass National Park. It is also a 10-minute drive south of Ross and an hour and a half’s drive to Punakaiki. The lodge offers free on-site parking and provides world-class service to its guests.
