The Unique History of the Building
262 Wakefield St has a rich history, having been built in the early 1900s as a brass foundry and later being transformed into a recording studio for the pioneering independent record label TANZA. The building then became a bar in various colorful guises before transforming into a restaurant.

Field & Green has retained the unique structure of the building by repurposing many of its original materials. The restaurant now boasts a chic and relaxed atmosphere, preserving the building's rich heritage while adding its own modern flair.
