The farm spans 20 acres and features beautiful lavender fields, farm animals, and display gardens. Visitors can enjoy a breathtaking walk through the flower fields, which change throughout Wanaka's four distinct seasons. The farm is open all year round, with different opening hours depending on the season. From June to August, the farm is open from 10 am to 5 pm, while from September to May, it is open from 9 am to 5 pm, seven days a week. The farm is closed on Christmas Day (25th December).

Apart from the lavender fields and gardens, visitors can also interact with the friendly resident farm animals and sample many fragrant products, including Lakes Honey and the many Wanaka Lavender Farm products that are lovingly made on-site. The farm shop offers a beautiful selection of lavender products, including essential oils, soaps, and candles, as well as honey and other farm-made products. The farm experience tickets are priced at $7.50 for children aged 5-15 years and free for children under 5 years from December to March. From April to November, the tickets are priced at $3.50 for children aged 5-15 years and free for children under 5 years.

In addition to the farm's offerings, visitors can relax in the tearoom over a cup of herbal tea and indulge in lavender ice creams.
