PCWC Fiction Manuscript Development Group

Are you a creative writer already working on a novel, novella, or a collection of short stories? Would you like to receive group verbal feedback to help you progress this work?

The Fiction Manuscript Development Group is conducted by Peter Cowan Writers Centre Inc.and meets on the 4th Saturday morning of the month from 10AM to 1PM.

2023 dates are: 27 May, 24 June (advance registration required for this special session), 22 July, 26 August, 23 September, 28 October, and 25 November 2023.

Each month, the session will have a set theme to direct feedback on your manuscript. The Convenor will lead discussion on the monthly theme, and/or share hints and tips or an exercise. Please bring a 100-word summary of your manuscript and a 500-1000 word extract from the manuscript that relates to the monthly theme that you can read aloud to the group.The summary should include the genre, timeline/era, setting, main characters and the point of conflict or themes in the work.

Cost: $5 PCWC Members $10 Non-Members (payable at the session except for June)
