Peak Range National Park

Peak Range National Park is a small but ecologically significant park located in Central Queensland, 760 km northwest of Brisbane.

As part of the Brigalow Belt bioregion, the park boasts a rich biodiversity, with a variety of rare or threatened plant and animal species calling it home. The park is proud to be the habitat of two rare or threatened plant species: Trioncinia patens and Dichanthium queenslandicum. Visitors to the park can also spot two unique animal species: the koala and Geophaps scripta scripta, a bird native to the area. The park showcases stunning natural landscapes, including scenic mountain ranges and vistas, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and visitors interested in protecting Australia's natural heritage.
