Description

Peak Range National Park is a small but ecologically significant park located in Central Queensland, 760 km northwest of Brisbane.

As part of the Brigalow Belt bioregion, the park boasts a rich biodiversity, with a variety of rare or threatened plant and animal species calling it home. The park is proud to be the habitat of two rare or threatened plant species: Trioncinia patens and Dichanthium queenslandicum. Visitors to the park can also spot two unique animal species: the koala and Geophaps scripta scripta, a bird native to the area.
