Description
Raspins Beach is a scenic site located beside the Tasman Highway, just north of Orford and south of Triabunna in Tasmania.
The beach offers stunning views of the water and Maria Island. While it is more of a lookout than a swimming beach, visitors can still enjoy activities such as picnicking, photography, bird watching, and hiking along the rocky shores.
Raspins Beach can be visited year-round, with the summer months being the most popular for swimming.
Getting to Raspins Beach is convenient as it is located alongside the Tasman Highway. Visitors can park their cars in the ample parking area and cross the road to access the site. It is a scenic 1 hour 20-minute drive from Hobart and a 2-hour drive from Launceston.
