Description

Rock Cairn Cuneo Drive is a historical site located in Bremer Bay, Western Australia.

The rock cairn is situated on a headland overlooking Bremer Bay and is just a short drive from the township. The road leading to the cairn is unsealed but worth the effort for the stunning views it offers. The cairn was originally built by the Wellstead family under Government maritime supervision as a means of alerting visiting ships when travelers or cargo were to be transported. The drive is a popular attraction in the area, and visitors can enjoy the scenic views along the way. The drive is generally considered an easy route, and it takes an average of 26 minutes to complete the 1.2-mile loop trail. Visitors can park their cars at the car park and take a short walk to the cairn. There are no facilities or amenities available at Rock Cairn Cuneo Drive. Visitors are advised to bring their own food, water, and other essentials. The town also has several accommodation options, including Bremer Bay Beaches Caravan Park, which is located on the corner of the Point Henry road and on the way to the Wellstead museum.
