Cellar Door and Restaurant
Rose Family Estate features a delicious restaurant and cellar door that opened in 1992, making it one of the original wine tourism destinations in the region. The restaurant provides a casual environment, reflective of how the Rose family entertains at home, and serves a simple yet delicious menu. It focuses on fresh Marlborough ingredients that change with the seasons. Head chefs Caroline Rose and Tane Malcolm make magic in the kitchen to bring their guests a unique blend of flavors.
Winery Management
Managed and run by eldest daughter Pip Rose, Rose Family Estate has a team of passionate and devoted individuals. Pip uses her vast experience in the industry to ensure the estate keeps growing and maintains its reputation for excellence. The winemaker, Sam Rose, was brought up on the vineyard and followed his parents around as they established their wine business. Initially, he graduated with a degree in winemaking from Lincoln University and then honed his skills by working with some of the best in the industry.

The Marlborough wine region, where Rose Family Estate is located, is known primarily for its Sauvignon Blanc. With over 150 wineries in the region, it is a popular destination for wine lovers. To enjoy a scenic journey through New Zealand's 12 wine regions, a visit to Rose Family Estate is a must. The ideal time to visit the winery is during the summer months from December to February.

To get to Rose Family Estate, head to Blenheim, New Zealand, and then, travel to Wairau Valley Road. It is a 10–15 minute drive from the Blenheim town center. A taxi or chauffeured wine tour is the best way to enjoy the local vineyards without the responsibility of driving.
