Located within the Matakana appellation of New Zealand, Runner Duck Estate is a boutique winery that has been producing fine-quality wines since its establishment in 2003.
With its vineyard covering approximately 3 hectares of land, Runner Duck Estate dedicates 1.5 hectares to Syrah, while the remaining land is dedicated to Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Albariño, and Sangiovese.

The optimum time to visit Runner Duck Estate is between September and April when the vineyard bursts to life, and the wine is at its best. The winery is open from 10 am to 4:30 pm from Wednesday through Sunday. Visitors can also choose to stay at Plume the Vineyard Restaurant and enjoy the delectable cuisine that Plume has to offer.
Getting to Runner Duck Estate
To reach Runner Duck Estate, visitors can choose to drive for approximately an hour from Auckland. Alternatively, they can book a shuttle from Auckland which can drop them off at the estate.
