Sandy Creek Conservation Park

Sandy Creek Conservation Park, previously known as the Sandy Creek National Park, is a preserved natural area covering 1.58 square kilometres (0.61 sq mi) of land.

It is located in the state of South Australia, specifically in the localities of Lyndoch and Sandy Creek, about 42 kilometres (26 mi) northeast of the state's capital city of Adelaide. The park is situated approximately 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west-south-west of the town centre of Sandy Creek.

The land that makes up Sandy Creek Conservation Park is divided into sections 72, 317, and 319 and in allotments 10, 50, and 202, located in the Hundred of Barossa. The area first gained protected area status under the Crown Lands Act 1929 as a wildlife reserve for section 72 on October 7, 1965. Together with section 72, they were named the Sandy Creek National Park on November 9, 1967. Finally, on April 27, 1972, they were reconstituted as the Sandy Creek Conservation Park under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972. Allotment 10 was added to the conservation park on April 11, 1991. Allotment 50 followed on September 8, 1994, and allotment 202 on January 19, 2006, all of which are also located in the Hundred of Barossa.
