The Sausage Factory is a restaurant located in Dulwich Hill, Sydney, New South Wales.
Since opening in 2017, it has gained a cult following. The venue, an old butcher shop on one of Dulwich Hill's high streets, is described as a "brewery and snaggery" that put the area on the map. With a capacity of 30 seats, the restaurant is part-bar, part-bistro, and part "sausage cellar door." It is known for its top-notch sausages made and cooked for dinner. The menu includes lovingly made craft sausages, matched pickles and sides, and an extensive selection of craft beer pairings. The restaurant also has its own brewery, Queens of Chaos, formerly known as Sausage Queen Brewing. In addition to the food and drink offerings, the restaurant also offers Boozy Sausage Making Classes. The interiors are crafty and eccentric, with features like a mass of woollen crocheted sausages hanging from the ceiling and a framed portrait of 'hot young Albo' with interchangeable outfits. The unique atmosphere adds to the restaurant's charm. The owner, Jim, has plans to launch his own hospitality venture in the future.
