Snowy River National Park

Snowy River National Park is a sprawling 98,700-hectare (244,000-acre) park located in the Alpine and East Gippsland regions of Victoria, Australia.

It was declared a national park in 1979 and added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2008. The park has a rich history, being home to the Kruatungulung group of the Kurnai Aborigines and later used by cattlemen and miners.

The park primarily consists of wilderness areas, including the impressive Little River Gorge, Victoria's deepest gorge.
