Sorrento Front Beach in Sorrento is a serene spot where visitors can relax and enjoy the stunning coastal views.
The beach is surrounded by beautiful Norfolk Island Pines and offers a picturesque view from any direction. Visitors can take a leisurely walk along the seafront, have a picnic on the lush lawn, or grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby cafes. On a clear day, visitors can see Melbourne in the distance across Port Phillip and observe the ferries arriving and departing the jetty. The beach is coated in fine white sand and has grassy areas to relax on. It faces north-east, making it relatively safe for swimming, although it is not patrolled. Sorrento Front Beach is spectacular throughout the year and can be visited at any time. To get there, visitors can drive along Nepean Highway or take the ferry from Queenscliff. The beach is within a short walking distance from Sorrento. Dogs on leashes are permitted between 7:00pm and 9:00am, except during the Daylight Savings period.
