Southern Coast Charters is a family-run business offering unique fishing experiences from the wharf in Port Fairy, just 40 minutes from Portland and 20 minutes from Warrnambool.

Our vessel, the Southern Explorer, is a deep sea vessel fully equipped with ten bunks, making it ideal for those looking to embark on extended overnight trips.

Safety is our foremost priority, and the Southern Explorer has undergone rigorous testing by Marine Safety Victoria, ensuring she can withstand anything the Southern Ocean has to offer. Licensed to carry up to 23 passengers, the Southern Explorer is spacious, comfortable, and equipped with amenities such as a toilet and shower, as well as a Gyro Stabilizer to help those susceptible to sea sickness.
