Explore artistic creativity this Start with a program inspired by our current exhibition. Explore the gallery on tours with timeless tales, invent new dance moves in a silent disco and craft your own costume for a period portrait in the photobooth.

Auslan Discovery Tour

11am-3pm Explore Evelyn Roth's colourful incredible inflatable wonderland.

Start Art Workshops

11am-3pm Take part in a Renaissance inspired Start Art Workshop with local artist Judith Sweetman.

Start Sounds

11am-3pm Boogie to beats mixed by DJ Angel followed by sonic journey back in time with James Logan showcasing the soothing sound of the lute.

Kick Start Tours

11am-12pm An interactive art experience.

Choreography with the Collection

11am-2pm Respond to works of art on display through contemporary dance with creative choreographer Jessie McKinlay and Tanya Voges.

Start Sketch Tours

11am-2pm Join artists Lauren Herraman and Zoe Butters on a drawing journey around the gallery.

Silent Disco

11am-3pm Showcase your best moves with an upbeat folk inspired silent disco.

Storytelling Performances

11.15am, 12.15pm & 1.15pm Hear timeless tales from a master storyteller, Helen Lawry.

12pm Auslan Sketch Tour

Take an Auslan interpreted Sketch Tour for deaf and hearing-impaired children and/or parents.
