Description
Tamarama Beach Kiosk is a beachside cafe located in Tamarama, New South Wales.
The kiosk was designed by Lahznimmo architects and was built to replace the old kiosk that was no longer in good repair and didn’t meet the needs of the growing local community. The new kiosk provides a safer, more functional space for visitors while preserving the ocean views and making the most of the spectacular environment. The kiosk is surrounded by stunning ocean and beach views, making it a popular stop on the Bondi to Coogee walk. The kiosk offers a range of food and drinks, including coffee, smoothies, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The menu features a range of healthy and fresh options, including salads, sandwiches, and bowls. There are also a variety of sweet treats available, including pastries and cakes. The kiosk is known for its high-quality coffee and is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. The kiosk is part of Tamarama Park, which is a beach park located on the popular coastal walk between Bondi and Bronte Beaches in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. The park is adjacent to Tamarama Beach and is located within the Waverley local government area in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The kiosk is part of a larger building that also includes a services building to accommodate Council maintenance, lifeguards and Tamarama Surf Club operational and storage requirements. The design of the building needed to retain the same feel and sense of place, minimize the size and impact of buildings and concrete, retain green space and views, address the issues of park access and safety, and provide increased functionality.
