As a surfer, the ocean has always been a sanctuary in which I turn to for inspiration or relief from the continual hum of our busy world.
It's no wonder that the Australian coast has become my ever-present muse in my paintings.
Over the years my work has become a gallery of recollections, capturing sacred moments spent in nature. Through the wonderful language of oil paint, I hope to convey that feeling of complete wonderment our Australian coast inspires, transporting the viewer to beautiful far-away places.
The striking texture of coastal shrubs against pristine oceans, the spray off the back of breaking waves and winding beach trails that beckon the viewer are among my favourite depictions in my current collection.
