Join artist Yuki Kihara for a day of professional learning focused on issues of cultural appropriation, identity and representation.
Begin the day with a guided preview tour of the exhibition Gauguin’s World: Tona Iho, Tona Ao. Hear Yuki Kihara present a floor talk about her work Fonofono o le Nuanua: Patches of the Rainbow (after Gauguin), 2020 and join the artist and invited guests for a talanoa - a conversation about issues raised in her practice and the complexities of Gauguin’s legacy.
Lunch and exhibition entry included.
