About the host
Shane McCarthy has been writing comics professionally for over 20 years. His credits include Batman Legends of the Dark Knight, Star Wars, Batman Detective Comics, Deadpool Team Up and Transformers: All Hail Megatron. His original character Drift was developed into several Transformers comics series, featured in Michael Bay's 2024 feature film Transformers: Age of Extinction and even had its own McDonald's Happy Meal toy! In this 60-minute workshop, you'll learn pro-tips and strategies for how to write scripts and build exciting stories out of characters, their arcs and their relationship to theme.
