It features one of the largest green walls in the southern hemisphere, spanning over 50 meters and standing six meters high. The Calyx also offers an onsite cafe, shopping, and hosts various events and workshops.

Visitors can experience the immersive horticultural exhibition called Love Your Nature at The Calyx. This exhibition showcases colorful plants arranged in intriguing patterns and is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.

The best time to visit The Calyx is during the warmer months from November to February when the weather is pleasant. To reach The Calyx, visitors can utilize public transportation such as buses, trains, and ferries to get to the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. Once there, they can explore the garden's diverse plant collections, including the Australian Rainforest Walk, the Palm Grove, and the Oriental Garden.

The Calyx is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm, and visitors can enjoy great coffee and juices at the Leaf Department kiosk.
