The Huts

The Huts is an eco-friendly bed and breakfast located in Ahipara, New Zealand.

Nestled on a hill in Shipwreck Bay, at the base of 90 Mile Beach, it offers stunning sea views. The accommodation is owner-operated and has been re-imagined to provide a unique and sustainable experience for guests. The Huts are passively heated and warm up in winter from the sun, but heaters are available for below freezing nights. Organic wool blankets are provided for warmth. The bed and breakfast also has a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, stovetop, and toaster, as well as free toiletries. Breakfast is available every morning with continental, vegetarian, and vegan options.

The Huts offer a luxurious bathroom and a sweet little kitchenette. The view from the huts is impeccable to wake up to, along with the locally baked breakfast. The property has an outdoor shower and bath, firepit, pizza oven, and yoga deck. The Huts are suitable for couples and solo travelers, and there are no extra beds available. All cots are subject to availability. There is no age requirement for check-in, and the property accepts cash and cards. Mobile phone signal is available.
