The Kentish

The Kentish is a long-standing pub with rooms dating back to 1851, located in Waiuku, New Zealand.

It is the oldest continuous licensed hotel in New Zealand and features over 450 historical local photos on its walls. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar that serves local beers and wines, and features darts and a billiards table. Conference facilities and an ATM are also available.

The hotel has a shared balcony that overlooks the Waiuku inlet, where guests can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. All rooms include a hand basin and tea/coffee making facilities, and each room has access to shared bathroom facilities. One room has an ensuite, while the rest share showers and toilets. The hotel does not offer cots, but extra beds are available upon request and subject to availability.

The Kentish Hotel accepts bank cards and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival. The minimum age for check-in is 18, and pets are not allowed. Guests are advised to inform the hotel of their expected arrival time in advance.
