Description

Located in the beautiful coastal suburb of Thirroul, Thirroul Beach is a natural wonder that offers a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.

This gorgeous beach is renowned among surfers, swimmers, and sunbathers alike. Thirroul Beach is known for its crystal-clear water and pristine beachfront. The beach faces eastward, making it exposed to swells from most directions, creating perfect conditions for surfing, bodyboarding, and other water activities. Thirroul Beach is patrolled between September and April, allowing for safe beach vibes. Nearby, the saltwater pool offers a refreshing respite from the sun and sand. While there is plenty of space for relaxation and sunbathing, Thirroul Beach is also incredibly pedestrian-friendly. The beach offers ample parking spots and a nearby train station, providing easy access.

Thirroul Beach is an exceptional location for pet owners as well. The beach is a time share dog zone, allowing access on a leash at specific times depending on the season. The time-sharing zone provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to take their furry friends along for a swim. If you want to give your pet more freedom, McCauley's Beach is located directly south of Thirroul Beach and is an off-leash dog-friendly beach.

Thirroul Beach is a year-round beach, but for water activities/surfing, the best time to visit is March-June and September-November. Being a popular tourist destination, it can get quite crowded during the summer months.
