Description

Three Sisters Reserve Lookout is a beautiful travel destination located 500 meters off the coast of Tasmania, between Ulverstone and Penguin.

The reserve includes three granite islands and an adjacent island called Goat Island. Visitors can take a 20-minute walk to the lookout to enjoy the stunning views of pink granite rocks rising high above the beautiful blue sea.

The Three Sisters Reserve Lookout is designed to give visitors the best scenic views with its extraordinary collection of pink granite rock formations known as the Hazards. During the walk to the lookout, you can see several stunning views of the sea where you can spot dolphins, whales and seabirds. Visitors to the lookout can also take exceptional photographs of the beautiful surroundings.

The best time to visit the Three Sisters Reserve Lookout is during summer (December to February) when temperatures are mild and rainfall is low. To get to Three Sisters Reserve Lookout from Launceston, visitors can drive for approximately 30 minutes via the Bass Highway/A1. From Hobart, it takes around 3 hours and 15 minutes via National Highway 1.

Beyond the Three Sisters Reserve Lookout, Tasmania has many other outstanding attractions to explore. When taking the Bicheno to Stanley route, visitors can stop and explore such notable places as the Cataract Gorge Reserve, Wineglass Bay Lookout Track, and Spirit of Tasmania. Two of Tasmania's oldest convict-built farms, Brickendon House and Woolmer's Estate are located about 18 kilometers southwest of Launceston.
