When to Visit and How to Get There
The best time to visit the Lodge is from September to May, when trout fishing is at its best. The Lodge is approximately 3 hours drive from Auckland and 4 hours from Wellington. Alternatively, there are daily flights to Taupo International Airport, which is only a 30-minute drive from the Lodge.
