Description

Tuart Forest National Park is a stunning national park located in the South West region of Western Australia, just 183 kilometers (114 miles) away from Perth.

It is home to the largest remaining section of pure tuart forest in the world. The park is named after Frederick Ludlow, a prominent businessman, and is situated between Capel and Busselton.

Tuart trees, scientifically known as Eucalyptus gomphocephala, can only grow on the coastal limestone in the area, making them a unique species. The park is home to the tallest and largest specimens of tuart trees, with some reaching over 33 meters (108 feet) in height and over 10 meters (33 feet) in girth.

Visitors can explore Tuart Forest National Park via Tuart Drive, which goes through the park. This scenic drive offers a chance to admire the incredible tuart trees. Whether you enjoy hiking, photography, or leisurely strolls, Tuart Forest National Park is a must-visit destination that will not disappoint.
