Description
At Tumblong Hills is a tapestry of experienced vineyard operators who have honed their craft in some of Southern NSW’s most substantial and progressive wine regions.
The wines made at Tumblong Hills come with a purpose towards continuous improvement in respect of the fundamentals of nature and future generations.
Simon Robertson has this land in his blood. A second-generation vigneron, Simon is a devoted advocate of sustainable farming with a background in Biodynamics, who truly acknowledges the role soil plays in good winemaking practices. Simon leads the team at Tumblong Hills with a belief that great wines are made in the vineyard and healthy living soils are the backbone to creating those wines. Living Soil : Great Wines!
Tumblong Hills is located here for a reason. In conjunction with the katabatic cooling winds from the Snowy Mountains, the carefully planted vineyard sites ensure the wines of Tumblong Hills retain distinctive varietal characters, forged from the vineyard’s rich living volcanic soils, and nearness to nourishing, mountain-derived water.
They pride themselves on their portfolio, which stays true to the multicultural heritage of their home and the European style of wines, while challenging the status quo with lesser-known, climate friendly varietals to enjoy with your friends and family on any occasion.
