This 6 km loop trail takes approximately 2 hours to complete and provides panoramic views over Darby Saddle, Corner Inlet, Shellback Island, and Cotters Beach. In addition to hiking, visitors can explore other activities in Wilsons Promontory. Miller's Landing Nature Walk in the northern parts of the park offers fantastic views and a great bird-watching experience. Travelers can access the beach through Five Mile Car Park.
The best time to visit Wilsons Promontory National Park is during the summer months of December to February when temperatures are the warmest and rainfall is the lowest.
To get to Wilsons Promontory National Park from Melbourne, travelers can take the South Gippsland Highway (M420) towards Meeniyan. Turn onto Meeniyan-Promontory Road (C444) and follow it until reaching Wilsons Promontory Road (C444). Follow this road all the way into the park. Visitors should note that there are no facilities available on Vereker Outlook Walk and should beware of unprotected cliffs.
