The Visitor Centre provides detailed information on D'Aguilar National Park and offers a virtual lookout platform showcasing southeast Queensland's national parks. The centre also delivers environmental education activities for visitors to learn about conservation efforts. Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre is open seven days a week from 9 am to 4 pm and is located at 60 Mount Nebo Road, The Gap, approximately 12 kilometers from Brisbane city. Visitors can reach the centre by car, bike, or bus, with ample free parking available on-site.
