Description

The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden Mogo is a beautiful garden located on 42 hectares of forest.

It displays plants native to the region and offers visitors the chance to enjoy a variety of plants and wildlife. Admission to the garden is free, and it is open from Wednesday to Sunday and every day of the NSW school and public holidays except Good Friday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

In the garden, visitors can explore a display garden, herbarium, nursery, arboretum, picnic and barbecue areas, a visitor centre, and café. There are five walking tracks in the garden, with a total length of six kilometres. These tracks range from 500 meters to two kilometers in length and can take anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours to complete. Two of the tracks are easy and offer limited mobility access.

The garden is open from Wednesday to Sunday and every day of the NSW school and public holidays except Good Friday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. While the garden is beautiful to visit all year round, the best time to go is in spring when many of the plants are in bloom.

To get to the garden, visitors can turn east off the Princes Highway onto Deep Creek Dam Road, which is five kilometers south of Batemans Bay. The garden is located at the end of the road.

For those interested in learning more about the garden and its plants, volunteer guides offer free guided walks most months. These walks are typically conducted on the first Sunday of each month. Guided walks are a great way to enhance the experience and knowledge of the garden.
