Description
In the winter months, a freshwater stream cascades onto the white sands of Waterfall Beach.
Waterfall Beach is named for the small waterfall that tumbles onto the beach. This beach is not as sheltered as others in the park but is still a great place for recreation, especially fishing.
If you look carefully east of Waterfall Beach towards Mt Hallowell you may be able to spot a monkey - Monkey Rock! Angle your head to the left, engage your creative brain and the monkey’s face may become clear!
William Bay National Park is very popular in peak periods such as school and public holidays and there are limited parking spaces. Visiting the park outside of these times may provide you with a more enjoyable experience. Camping is not permitted in William Bay National Park.
