From November to April, divers and snorkelers have the opportunity to swim with gentle whale sharks. Getting to Christmas Island involves a four-hour direct flight from Perth, followed by a 95-minute flight from the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Once on the island, visitors can explore the natural wonders by car or on foot. Car access is available for the rainforests and waterfalls, while hiking through the rainforest is necessary to reach West White Beach and other trails.
