Description
The Wiradjuri Trail is a scenic 42-kilometre trail that circles much of Wagga Wagga, perfect for walking and cycling enthusiasts of all levels.
It winds through three nature reserves, providing opportunities for wildlife spotting. Walkers will enjoy stunning views over the city, especially from Mount Scott, the highest point of the trail. The Wollundry Loop, part of the Wiradjuri Trail, offers a more leisurely walk option, covering 12.1 kilometres and showcasing the beauty of the Murrumbidgee River and Wollundry Lagoon. The trail also allows visitors to encounter some of Wagga Wagga's tourist attractions, such as Riverside: Wagga Beach, Cadell Place laneway murals, Wiradjuri Reserve, and Marrambidya Wetland. The Wiradjuri Trail is open all year round, and visitors can start from various locations using their own transportation.
