The southern corner of Wooli Beach is popular for fishing off the breakwall and surfing the beach breaks. To get to Wooli Beach, it is approximately an 8-hour and 30-minute drive from Sydney or a three-hour drive south of Brisbane for those coming from Queensland. Public transportation options include taking a train or bus to Grafton, the nearest station to Wooli, with buses available from Grafton to Wooli.
