This gentle walk follows the northern side of the gorge above the vertical red rock walls. Several vantage points give excellent views of the gorge, the creek mouth and Ningaloo Reef.

Yardie Gorge Trail

The trail begins at the trailhead near the end of the Yardie Creek Walk. It is initially an easy walk but becomes more difficult as you ascend the Range. Look closely and you may be able to spot black-footed rock wallabies as they shelter on ledges along the southern cliff face, waiting for evening before coming out to feed. You must remain on the trail on the northern side of the gorge so that you do not disturb these animals.

Distance: 1.5km return to the trailheadTime: Allow 1 hourDifficulty: Class 4
