Murwillumbah, located in the beautiful Tweed Valley of New South Wales, is home to the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. This award-winning gallery features seven exhibition spaces that host a dynamic program of historical to contemporary exhibitions, showcasing the work of regional, national, and international artists. The gallery is surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns, offering panoramic views of the Tweed River.

Established on this site in 2004, the gallery has expanded to include a workshop and education area, a Gallery Café with indoor/outdoor seating, a Gallery Shop, and a research library. The gallery also features the Margaret Olley Art Centre (MOAC), which celebrates the career, life, and legacy of Margaret Olley, Australia's most celebrated painter of still life and interiors. MOAC combines exhibitions, interactives, and the permanent re-creation of areas of Olley's famous home studio, complemented by the Nancy Fairfax Artist in Residence Studio.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of public programs and workshops catering to all ages, as well as the $20,000 Olive Cotton Award for photographic portraiture.
